Hi
To save me a 300 Mile round trip is there anyway of accessing a Cisco Router via Telnet if no password is set. I have remote access to the box, but when I Telnet to it I get the message password required but none set. Is there any way past this.

Thanks
Ste1

No there is not. Twould be a security breach if there were. Then any Joe Shmoe could telnet to any Cisco box.

You have to console in and set the password.

Would it be possible to get someone to hook a modem up to the console port, or would this present a similar problem?
