Hi All!

Just wondering if anyone has used the above Voice mail system with an MD110?

BC11 MD110 - connected to Teleware box via QSIG.

Specifically having problems automating the Tone sender function on digital phones when calling the VMS to retrieve messages - and when being transferred to the VMS system to leave messages - anyone know how to do this ?

Thanks in advance- hope this is not too vaugue!

Try pushing 9 after having dialled the VM system. This will
activate DTMF.
Otherwise there is an ASPAC to make it automatic, think is 56 . You better check in ALEX.

On 3213 phones you can press the first function key, labelled as ETE on the display. ASPAC 56 lets you set the post-dial suffix

Rich,

This aint, the site over near Heathrow airport by any chance ?

Teleware and MD, LOLOLOL

nothing but problems

trus' me bro !

Thanks for the replies guys!

Probably was not clear enough - my bad :) - wanting to *automate* the tone sender so when you call the pilot extension to retrieve messages from a digital extension - or when a call is diverted to the VMS it *automatically* switches tone sender on - so digital phone users do not have to set it with "9". Works fine with CallExpress - but Teleware is a no go..

Have heard a little more about this now from elsewhere - seems it is a problem with Teleware not being able to tell the MD to do this over QSIG.

Heheh Jay - this is an Aussie site actually - but you have me worried now..

thanks again - anyone out there got this working at all?

Rich,

oh daymn, yooos a down-under wallaby !

g'day mate.

been there a couple of times, brisbane (goldcoast) and Melbourne.

yeah, the site I know, had horrendus probs with teleware/md problems. caused us nothing but hassle.

The customer always got caught in the, "its teleware" "no its md" sceanrio.

no matter how or what we prooved to teleware, the denied any probs, however after any complaints the problem "always" cleared up as if by magic ;)

have a nice one

J
