Telephony DT590 on older BS230 (base station)

Is it possible to use a DT590 handset subscribed on a older BS230 Base station?

My DT230 handset is trash by now, and I got a DT590 handset, but I wonder if I can subscribe it to BS230.

i tested with dt 292 and it's working without problems... Can you try it with dt590, base station pin 1111 by default...

It's working to subscribe the DT590 with the BS230 by using pin 1111. Also when I connect a phoneline, I can make calls from the DT590, but the DT590 can't receive calls. The BS230 indicates a incoming call but the DT590 remains silent.
I am now looking for a DT290 to test with, seems work 100% with the BS230.
