I just thought this was an interesting note: I was trying to log in to tek-tips one day and it must have been down that day because it returned an error. It seems that they use Windows NT because I got an error message referring to C:\, but perhaps I'm wrong and they're using FreeDOS, or something like that...nah, I doubt it. Not that it really matters of course because I think that tek-tips provides a really great service and as long as it's running, I don't care too much what OS they're using, but I think it would be nice if they did use Linux or FreeBSD or something, but that's just me.
REH
hawkdogg@crosswinds.net
<a href= by Linux
Learn Linux and Leave out the Windows :)

They're using NT because that's what Doug knows how to program in...and he's doing quite well at making the site run well, especially considering that it's on winblows :)
-Robherc
robherc@netzero.net
SearchMaster Interface...11-in-1
Wanting to learn Assembler; please e-mail me any tutorials or links for it that are useful to you :)
