Personally, I think there's WAY too many acronyms in the world, but some of them are fun. The one I've been using recently has been:
PEBCAM Error - Problem Exists Between Chair And Monitor
... of course, some of them have come from Dilbert; little did Scott Adams know that he would be inventing acronyms while making fun of corporate America.... such as:
PFY - Pimply-Faced Youth (usually refers to interns or other newbies)
PHB - The Pointy-Haired Boss (no explaination needed)
... I have a coffee cup at work that I got from ThinkGeek.com which just says RTFM. Many persons have come up to me to ask what it stood for. I simply tell them "Read The Manual". A couple have asked what the F stood for, stopped themselves, and walked out of the office.
I'm not sure where this thread is going, but I just thought it would be fun to discuss some of the newer pop-culture colloquialism acronyms that are going around out there.
Just my $.02
