I have both an internal and external IP address, my internal one is needed to connect with my DSL provider through DIRECTWAY and it is also what shows up as my IP, the external one I have no Idea how it got assigned and wish to have it removed so I can host serve at some locations such as gamespy and such..anybody have any ideas how to fix this dilemma?

thanks ..nate

YOur external one is assigned (dynamically) by the ISP and that is not something you can change, unless you pay for a fixed IP.
You cannot use an internal IP on the internet.
What exactly do you want to achieve anyway, it's not clear.
Gamespy etc will work just fine the way you are connected. If the solution is here, let us know it was helpful so others can benefit from it as too
