yes i install different nic and same thing.the tcp/ip files are missing or corrupt.

How long has this been going on. I would guess an ipconfig at a command prompt would be a waste of time. Do you have all your patches and have checked for viruses? Glen A. Johnson

its hapend a week ago yesterday i install sp3 the server is working but i cannot change the properties (ip,subnet).
when i tray to uninstall tcp/ip via edd/remuve windows components i recive this massage ."could not install the simple TCP/IP services component because file or registry entry is missing." when i tray to add tcp in the card properties i recive this error " could not add the requested
component. the error is :the system cannot find the file specified"

DID you tried at boot, use the option of Repair using the CD-ROM?
DID you scan your Server as Glen said? A+, MCP, CCNA

Might want to un-install sp3 if you can. I'm hearing different things from both sides of the fence. Seems to me if you've got a clean pc with nothing but MS apps, sp3 works great, but if you have any custom ap's, you may have problems. Glen A. Johnson
