Tasks in Outlook

Hi, I use Tasks in Outlook 2000 to assign tasks to my reports. This works very well except when I assign recurring tasks. When they mark a one time task as complete, it will update the task both in their Outlook and in mine, however when they mark a recurring task as complete it updates in their own Outlook but not in mine, in my Outlook it retains the original information and dates and does not rollover, so it looks as if they have never completed the task. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, that does help in a sense because it confirms that what I want it to do is not possible so I can stop looking.
