Hi all,
I want to move windows task-scheduler jobs to another machine (of which I have full admin rights). However, it appears that the c:\windows\Tasks folder is another one of those fake 'folders'. If I map a drive to the other machine, and look in *that* machine's [mapped-letter]:\Windows\Tasks folder, I see *my* tasks.

Without getting into too much of a rant, that is just wrong in so many ways.

How can I (without using remote desktop, etc) put a task file on another machine? (again--this is not a security issue because I have full rights).

Thanks,
--Jim

The AT command should help.

You can run it against the local machine or a remote machine (at \\remote_name).

It can be used in report-only mode (to get the data from the source machine) or in update mode (to write the changes to the target machine).

Use at /? to get the syntax.

Thanks both, linney, it looks like the remote tasks article is the one that will do the trick,
