Task Scheduler hangs

My task scheduler wizard hangs when I click on Next. I know there are hotfixes for this on the Microsoft site but they seem to apply to Windows 2000. I have an XP SP2 Home machine with all patches applied.

Are you sure it is a true hang, or just that it takes a looong time?

Mine takes a looong time.
