We have a company wide task list in the public folder area of Outlook. The problem is that we want it to be displayed the same for all users - i.e. viewed by categories then sorted by subject and date. Easy enough to do initially but also easy to mess up by the user who, in our company, are usually unable or unwilling to get back to the view where the task list makes most sense.
Is it possible to either lock the view settings or to overwrite registry settings when users login with the required view? I do the second of these to keep a standard Master Category list but can't find the relevant registry settings for the Task list view...
We use Outlook 2003 on an Exchange 2003 server.
Any help much appreciated.
