Hi, hopefully someone can help here!
We use Tapeware Adminstrator (v 6.3) for backups and have recently run into a problem.
The last backup successfully created was of the accounts software data files and immediately this operation was completed another back up job was attempted. This was when we started to get the error message "Error Code: 46(0x2e) Message Service not available" and it has continued to prevent me starting a back up operation ever since. It displays this error when I try to move past the Tapeware Administrator Logon screen.
The only mention I have found of this error number is in a Yosemite Technologies Knowledge Base article TID: 000270 which talks about computers (plural!). We are running Tapeware on just the Server (with XP Pro) and so most of the suggestions are meaningless.
It does suggest checking that there is not another instance of Tapeware running by checking Windows Task Manager but I cannot get this to run either.
Does anyone have a suggestion please? Would it matter if I reboot the Server, to make sure there is not another instance of tapeware running in the background?
I hope to hear from you soon! Thanks everyone,
Roger
