Hi all,
I just migrated from the following environment;
Sun 240R - Solaris 8 (64 bit)
Netbackup 4.5 MP5
Spectralogic 10k (with four AIT-3) drives
To the following environment;
Sun 440 - Solaris 9 (64 bit)
Netbackup 5.1 MP2, Vault, NDMP (for NAS)
Clariion CX500 with 12TB for Disk Staging
Spectralogic 20k (three AIT4 drives, 1 AIT3 drive)
Tape drives are only used for vault / duplication.
My question:
Once we migrated all my previous media and images over to my new NBU master, basically ALL of my media have a 'Time Assigned' that is blank. Therefore, my 'Available Media' report is showing most of my media as being 'available', which is not the case.
Did I miss something during the migration, or does NBU 5.1 handle available media differently?
Is there a nifty command to get things back into sync?
Didn't think so...but any ideas would be greatly appreciated. It's such a pain to figure out what media are truly available to use as 'scratch'
