Tape engine will not start automaticly

Have you tried going into the control panel: services and changing the Arcserve Tape Engine to Automatic? 2 of the Arcserve services do not default to automatic when you install the software. I can't remember which 2. I just added to my procedures to always go into services and make them all automatic.
