Hi all,

How can I use a tape device connected to another server?

RESTORE DATABASE MyNwind
FROM TAPE = '\\MyServer\tape0' ??
WITH NORECOVERY
NOUNLOAD

You need to share the tape drive in other server. Grant access to user thats performing the restore.

\\ServerName\ShareName\
