In my library, I want to make a copy of a tape after each backup for offsite storage.
When I do a backup and add the right command as a post job command, nothing happens.
When I type exactly the same command in a DOS box after the backup, the tape is duplicated immediately without errors.

What am I doing wrong, or why doesn't it work ?

Thanks, Luc

set a delay for the post execution using something like the
@pause command. The tape engine is still rewinding the tape at the end of the backup and you have to wait for this to finish

How do you copy your tapes in NT? How long does it take? I would like to try this.

i use raid-1 tape drive setup with the raid option, 1 tape for site and one for offsite. I am trying to remember how to use the @pause command, i think its is
@pause xxx [where xxx is the time in seconds to wait]
