I have just installed a second dat drive(HP Surestore Autoloader 40 x 6 E)to enable me to make tape copies from the original dat drive (HP Surestore Autoloader 24 x 6 E). The two dat drives are connected to two separate scsi cards on the back of the NT server.I am using the tapecopy command as per the tapecopy instructions on to run the tape copies. The tape copies are being made successfully. I would like to know where I can look for reports that will confirm that the tape copies have been successful or not apart from the message that is received in the command prompt box after the tape copy procedure has completed. I cannot see anything in the reports that refers to the copying apart from one line that says that my tape copy batch file has been launched after the backup has completed. Any advice for viewing reports about tape copying appreciated.

The output of the "tapecopy" command is the only report your will get. It is a standalone utility with only the most basic integration with the Arcserve product. Jim P. Ames
