Taking a PSD template and making it work in Flash MX

I have downloaded a free Photoshop template. I would like to animate the links and bring in certain graphics when the page is loading. I want to do this in Flash MX.

How do I make a template work interactively with Flash MX. I know I have to do some slicing and bring in links on timeline. Is there a tutorial on how to do this. There are so many free templates out there that would be great for web pages. If only I knew how to do it.

it might say do you want to do this through quicktime but flash will import psd files

is there a reason why you cant do this and then add whatever flash bits you want?
