I have a long table that runs over multiple pages. If a cell is too long/tall, InDeisgn automatically moves the entire cell to the next page. Is there a preference that will allow me to have only the text that will fit on that page in that cell to stay there and move the rest of the text in that cell to the next page? Or do I have to fake it, cut and paste the text that won't fit into a new cell onto the next page, and turn off the borders below and above to make it look like the cell is split and continues onto the next page? Thanks!

You have to fake it I'm afraid. It's really a very poor oversight by InDesign and I know they admitted to this being a feature they forgot to add, but as far as I know they are working on making this feature for future editions.
