table troubles

Is there a way to work with tables with multiple columns in DW so that when you move one cell up ( or the contents in the cell) the others does not move down?

I also notice that if I'm doing something that uses a table with several columns or rows, once the cell resizes, even if I move it back it seems not to respond. Is there a way to resize tables besides grabbing the edges?

Try working in layout view and draw layout cells where you want content. Then Macromedia figures out where to draw the table cells so your content stays where you want it.
