I have created a table 620 pixels wide.

I have nested some other tables and set their widths at 100%.

The problem is that when I inserted some images in the original table, Dreamweaver displayed it at about 850 px wide! After removing images, table still displays as 850 px wide in Dreamweaver but displays as 620px in IE and Netscape. This is most annoying, and try as I might, I cannot see why it should do this. Code looks the same as in original template.

Also, is there an easy way to cut and paste files from one site to another within Dreamweaver as opposed to having to keep opening explorer?

Thanks,

Richard.

Mmmm... this is awfully similar to my present problem. I have a table with 5 cols and 6 rows, everything was fine until I decided to add yet another row by breakig a cell into two rows. At that moment the entire table had a height increase of like 100%! and eversince I can't shorten up its height. I have tried entering values in the properties panel, also via its coding, and manually by dragging up from bottom up, and nothing makes any difference.
Only I've noticed that right after I try the dragging up, one of the cols acquires a specific height (although it had non specified before), and this will happen again and again even if I remove this height entry. It's like a bug in the program if you ask me.
