Table of Figures in Word97

Hello all.

I have several figures drawn in a Word 97 document. For each figure I have made a Caption. However, when I try to creat a Table of Figures, I get the following error:

Error! No table of figures entries found.

I've tried the Microsoft Help and followed the procedures to a "T". I've closed Word and renamed normal.dot and all to no avail.

Any ideas?
