On my form there is a 4 page tab control. Is there any way to format the tab labels? At the moment they automatically size to fit the label text and it isn't possible to embolden, etc. What I would like to have is 4 equally sized labels stretching the full width of the control.

Not sure if this is possible (I'm using Access 97) but if it is please let me know.

Thanks
Chris

not sure but one way you could do it is to put spaces in front of the tab names until they're all the same size.

Thanks - I've tried this and it works up to a point - the problems are that the tab will only allow preceeding spaces, forcing all the text to the right (being awkward, I want it on the left!) and I still have no means of setting text properties.

Still, it's better than nothing and thanks Gazer for taking the time to reply.

Use the 'Tab Fixed Width' property on the tab control to size the tabs.

...and it's all there just waiting for me! Thanks StarPassing, have a beautiful day.

If you want the spaces after the names, try [ALT]-255 to write empty letters (Hold down the ALT-key and type '255', release ALT-key).

I also need a formatable tab-control, but I found no way to do this. I can't change the colors, it's always using the system's colors. Perhaps there is a way to write a user defined tab control, I am still searching.

Or, of course, use the property.... :)

Thanks StarPassing, this teaches again to look closer.
But I am still searching for a color-change or better transparency settings. Which includes the names of the tab-control (background color).

Jens
