A MORTGAGE BROKER IS ASSIGNED DN 2002 WITH TARGET LINE 159 RINGING ON 2 CALL APPEARENCE BUTTONS. HE WANTS TO CALL FORWARD HIS TELEPHONE TO HIS ASSISTANT AT DN 2004 TO ANSWER HIS CALLS FOR HIM. HE DOES NOT WANT TO USE AN ANSWER BUTTON ON DN 2004. HE STILL WANTS TO RECIEVE INTERCOM CALLS FROM DN 2004, HE ALSO WANT TO RECIEVE CALLS FROM ANOTHER TARGET LINE CALL THAT RINGS HIS TELEPHONE.
ANY SOLUTIONS APPRECIATED.

Why does he have 2 appearances of the Target Line if he doesn't intend on answering his calls?
Why not assign the lines to his assistant?

SD

HE WANTS TO BE ABLE TO ANSWER HIS DIRECT LINE ON HIS PHONE AT CERTAIN TIMES. HE DOES NOT WANT IT TO RING ON DN 2004 ALL THE TIME. HE HAS TWO CALL APPERAENCES ON HIS TELEPHONE SO THE SECOND CALL DOES NOT RING ON THE INTERCOM KEY ON DN 2002.

You could use Hunt Groups.
You could use Feature 4.

What does the user know about Answer Keys and why is he against it?

Good one on you Jeff!

Line Redirect with Redirect ring????

It's sometimes a bit confusing for the users ... but this user is asking for a lot from the system without allowing the tech to use the system feature.

Oh well....
