T7316 plastic cradle where

over the years I've noticed that the cradle that the handset uses starts to wear smooth on the telephone set. the rest of sets usually look fine however this area looks pretty worn out. Especially when I'm reselling a telephone sets. replacing the plastic housing is too costly and time consuming.

I use plexus plastic cleaner and polish which really gets the sets looking like new. However this 1 area always looks worn out. A few years ago I noticed a toshiba telephone set actually had a plastic overlay that replaced this area and brought it back to looking like new. Does anyone know of any plastic overlay for the nortel telephone sets that would insert into the cradle area that the handset rests on? perhaps even something I could cut out myself plastic that would match the gray color of the telephone sex with an adhesive backing?

You are best to send them in to a refurbish-er.

We are a refurbishing company and we send the plastics out for professional repainting when required such as that.

Thanks. Do you have a company that does the repainting and how much do they charge per set?

Also I contacted Refurb Supplies to see if they would be interested in producing an insert.

Does not make sense to do our own painting.....do things right or don't do it all.
