T7208 light never stop flashing....

Hi,i have a curious problem whit 3 T7208 phone working with CICS 4.1.with CP100 3.1

When a call come in, light flashing on 3 phone but when the call is answer it just keeping flashing on all the phone,the only way to make it stop its to unplug the phone...there are no message in the voicemail and no DND active or anything,never have this problem before.

Any clue someone???

If an extension does a FEATURE 1 - MESSAGE LIST and this person ADDs the message to another extension the MWI lamp lights up to tell you someone wants them to call that extension back.

FEATURE 6 5 will tell you which extension called the set.

Press 0 to call that extension back.

Ask the person who left them the message to dial FEATURE # 1 and the extension that has the MWI lamp on and this will shut the lamp off.
 
Sorry forgot, that is the long way....

Try from the set with the MWI to do a FEATURE # 6 5

This will shut off the Lamp.
 
Since it is happening on three phones and unplugging makes the light go out...it seems like you may have a wiring issue. Find out if the phones are shaing pairs in an inside wire...check the connections at the system blocks and the amp plugs.

WOW, I am jumping to conclusions once again... seems like a habit this week!!! :)

Somehow I missed the: when a call comes in and the light remains on the set, even after the call has ended.

I would agree to Crowtalk's comment that it might be a wiring an issue.
 
There is no message with F65 for each phone ,i have already check that but, the wiring i`m gona have a look on that end come back guys,could be and amp problem at the system to...i will get back to you guys. Thanks for the hint.
 
oh!! By the way the call they receive always came from a hunt group transfered by the CP 100 to those ext.
