We've added a T7000 phone to a 6x16 switchboard currently running only 7310 phones.

The T7000 is a tiny phone with no screen.

As soon as it is plugged into the socket the red light on the top blinks quickly, and the phone cannot be used to make or receive calls?

Any ideas? The socket has only just been wired up, so this could be a problem with the wiring, but a 7310 phone in the same socket works fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I Don't think the 6+16 system supports T7000 or M7000 phones, a MICS with a high enough software level and BCM's are to my (very limited) knowledge the only systems that can support them.

T-series is compatible with only certian releases of 6X16 in North America.

However you say T7000, never seen one except in the UK.
