I have a T1 that keeps going up and down and Qwest is telling me I need to change my protcol to NI1 from NI2 as they don't support NI2 on there DMS. To change this do I need to remove the Loop fron the CFN before I can out the trunks and then out the RDB so I can rebuild the RDB with NI1?

I believe you just need to disable the loop and can leave the loop in cfn.

I have the loop disable, now do I change it, I can't get to the prompt to change it.?

What do you want to change on the loop Ace? If your just doing a IFC chg you can just go to LD 16 and use the chg command there

I just want to change NI2 to NI1.

How do I get to IFC the prompt keeps jumping over it.

You might have to out the rdb and rebuild, but I don't even see NI1 on the list. I think D100 is close though.

ACE you have Dchs on this? IFC on the Dchs too. If so, I think you do have out and rebuild (if doing the Dch)

When you change the Dch you're going to need to do a FDL on it to make it stick

Just looking at the NTP's and NI1 isn't listed, so I guess i'll need to ask Qwest what switch model DMS they have.

Never had to remove a PRI before.

Loop is disabled
DCH is disabled
When I try to out the DID trunk I enter 6 0 for the TN and

I get SCH0620

Input out of range (Overlay 15)
Action Re-enter input

out in 14

out 23

6 0

will take out 23 members in incremintal order

Thats the problem, I keep getting the SCH0620.

I'll be damed, leave it to Nortel to mess with your head, every thing else is UNIT 0. that worked.

thanks Have a star on me.

Thanks Ace, cool coming from a TOP MVP. I was racking my brain because I have seen that before...like every time I freak'in out members! Then, I still agreed with you at first...stupid 1 thru 23 route trunk members. I've smoked the first member of the next trunk before doing an out 24 on a T with a Dch instead of out 23.

I don't care how long i've been doing this, I still learn something new every day and anybody who say's they know it all is a fool.

OK I rebuilt the RDB with IFC SL1, when I try to build the trunks I get SCH4792 Basicly telling me to FDL the DCH.

I ENL DCH 11 FDL and it downloads the the NI2 DATA again.

How do I get it to download the SL1 DATA?
