T1 installation, no integrated CSU -- which pairs do I punch down? 1

I've only ever installed a T1 before with an integrated CSU (120AU), and now I'm trying to do it by punching down the blue and orange pairs to the frame. The question is, WHICH pairs do they punch to? 1 & 2 are no go, 23 & 24 the same, and combinations of 1 and 24 and swapping blue and orange on any of the above don't work. Any ideas?

If I'm understanding your question correctly, try swapping 1&2 with 4&5. Hope this is what you were looking for.

Pin 48 - White/Orange - Pin 1

Pin 22 - Blue - Pin 5
Pin 47 - White/Blue - Pin 4

If I am understanding you correctly, you have a 25 pair cable going from your Definity to a 110 block (or 66 block), and you want to connect your CSU to the block. In that case, the TX will go to the Violet/Orange pair, and the RX will go to the Violet/Green pair.
