MICS 7.0 hooked up to 24 trunk T1. Is there a way for the system to supply dial tone after accessing T1 trunk for outbound call. Carrier cant, this is a IAD circuit running VOIP and terminated as a T1 on the ICS.

You can create a second dial tone table for any PRI under services/routing services/2nd dial tone

What type of T1? If it isn't PRI, and it isn't a point-to-point, try this:

Dial 9 (or however you access an outside line).

Dial *82

If you receive dial-tone, you can then setup the 9 dest code to do a pre-dial of *82.

This will provide a "real" dial-tone, but the "fake" one that the MICS provides.

Its a T1 not a PRI. I will try the *82 .... interseting idea. Thank You
