Does anyone have the pinout of a RJ-45 to 50 pin amphenol connector, in a cross over configuration.

Thanks,

Bob

you could always crack open a 259A adapter and map them out yourself. the 259A is straight through, not cross-over, so just swap those pairs around.
for those of you that don't know what a 259A adapter is....it is the adapter that was used when the C-LANs first came out. i might have one close by....give me an hour or so.

RJ pins 4 & 5 are the white blue/blue to amph pins 26 & 1.

RJ pins 7 & 8 are the white brown/brown to amph pins 29 & 4.

RJ pins 1& 2 are the white orange/orange to amph pins 27 & 28

RJ pins 3 & 6 are the white/green to amph pins 2 & 3

Now that's straight through config.

Why not use a 259A and a crossover cable? The pn for the 259A is 102631413.

That is the way it was done a few years ago when the C-LAN came out and you wouldn't dare ask the customer's data side to put a VM and C-LAN on 'their' network.

Has anyone figured out why a C-LAN still ships with that short crossover cable in a seperate bag?

If you do a direct connect to an adjunct, such as a CMS or an Intuity and you do not go through a LAN switch you need the crossover cable.
