Hi all,

I have two supervisor boards in our Cisco 6509 and now are the systems lights red since a few days. Status and Active are green and we have no malfunction and I can also not find any error message in tech-support or something else.

I found on the CCO following describtion:

- Two VTT modules fail or the VTT module temperature major threshold has been exceeded.

- The temperature of the supervisor engine major threshold has been exceeded.

I'm sure that nothing is or was overheated, so how can I stop this alert without rebooting the whole machine??

Thanks a lot for any help!
George

Either the module is not operational, which I think not to be the case as they are supervisor modules so your switch would be down, or there is a temperature condition, a threshold has been exceeded, get on the switch and have a look in the log.

Hi,

as I already said, I've checked the logs and I'm sure there was never a temperatur problem:

So my question again: how can I reset this alert?
