System unstable

Hey guys I have a Vaio notebook and XP professional OS installed in it. When I boot the system the taskbar show up but its contents does not and when I take the curser to the taksbar the hourglass shows up as if its running infinitely.The windows key or start ket does not work either.

Also my internet stopped working. I tries to check the running processes and svchost.exe runs 90% with cpu running at 90%, closing svchost does not restore the system. If anybody knows what the problem is please let me know
