Currently I am unable to access Gmail, using both IE and FireFox. I can get to the site, put in my username and password, and then when I click submit I get the normal Gmail "Loading..." text and then I get an all white page with an "Errors on Page" message at the bottom of IE.

I have updated my Java to ensure it's not a JS issue, I have all the windows updates, I have checked both HOSTS and LMHOSTS.SAM

I do not have any viruses or spyware (unless they are currently undetectable), as I run AVG and numerous online scanners, and also run Lavasoft, Spybot and MS AntiSpyware.

I use Kerio Personal Firewall, but I disabled and shut it down to rule it out. It did not fix my problem. I have no other program acting as an HTTP proxy.

Anybody have any ideas?

I'm assuming you've looked at this:

What else to try:
1) Make sure you have cookie settings at 'LOW'
2) Set Internet security to Medium
3) Try logging in through 4) Clear both browser's cache/cookies
5) Make sure you don't have a pop-up or ad blocker running
6) Remove the check next to Enable third party browser extensions on the Advanced tab of IE's internet options menu.

No I had not looked at that page, but I had already done what it suggests.. as in adding the site to the exceptions list. I have not cleared my cache, so I will try that.

Internet Security will not go below Medium, unless I set a custom level.

Regardless of how I login.. it still forwards you to gmail.google.com,

gmail.google.com and are the same IP.

However I will try the cache.. hopefully this is the kick in the head I need to fix this problem.

I've found that clearing my temp internet files clears some of those problems.. *shrug*

Lloyd,
Take a closer look at what I've suggested.

The link to gmail I posted above has an 's' at the end of http for a secure sockets layer connection:

It does redirect you, but with SSL enabled.

Also, I said set your Privacy Settings for cookie control to Low, not the internet security settings (Medium is fine for that).

Also, don't skip past #6 either!

well all I did was put *.google.com in my firewall exception list...

when I went home I emptied my cache and it worked perfect.

So the gmail page you posted worked like it said it would, thanx. That was so annoying.
