If you want a program to start when you log on, simply create a shortcut to the application in your Startup folder. If you want an application to start as a service before you log in, that's a bit more complicated.
That is what I am looking for: "The Startup Folder"
I am using Vista Home and cannot find that folder.
Yes, I am the admin, [only one usin PC] have all visible to see.
BadBigBen, what does ORB stand for?
I found the 'startup folder' by going to th 'START' button, 'PROGRAMS', 'PROGRAM FILES'. I did this since it is the only way other than 'windows explorer' or 'search' of finding something on my PC, but I am still at lost of knowing what ORB stands for.
