So it's blank? Basically a "new" SD card that can be purchased for about $35? We purchased an entire phone system. The IP Control Unit with 2 modules, 8 phones and the SD Card at an auction from a business that closed down. Obviously I was hoping something would still be tied to it.

it could be licensed under PLDS

have you checked the contents of the SD card or tried powering the system up? open the confing or read the CFG file of the std card using manager

It could have been running in basic mode as I don't believe basic mode required any licenses, but I've never installed nor worked on a system that didn't have at least an essential edition license.

I recall that up to Release 6 no licences were needed as the control unit itself was licenced for the equivalent of Essentials Edition.

An SD card even without licences was needed for the system for function and it is possible that a smaller system wouldn't have any additional licences.

SaraO - can you tell us about the release of the control unit, the modules and phones?
