6x16 system with a Fastrad connected was working fine, but the other day I could not access it.

I went to the system, and tried f9** and it said "feature not active".

I power-cycled the RAD, with no change. Tried connecting direct through local computer / db9 connector, and it would not connect. I then put an instrument in place of the RAD, and the buttons were flashing as normal during an init. THEN when I plugged the RAD back in , it worked fine.

Worked for 4 days and the same thing happened..

Does the RAD have to be on a certain port ? or is it getting de-commissioned somehow ? or is the KSU or RAD defective ?

thoughts ?

thanks

The RAD does not have to be on a certain port. Have you tried a different port? If so, I would say the RAD is on its way to be DOA.

The RAD is on it's way out. Replace.
