I have a definity g3v6 and I am trying to add a system printer to it so I can schedule reports, I am trying to hook it up to the pr1 port on the back of the definity cabinet nothing will print when I do the schedule immediately, but if I hook into the monitor it does print, what am I missing??

any help would be nice.

Thanks

You need a printer with a serial interface.
So do not use the Parallel interface

Please let me know if the information that was provided is helpfull.

under your system-parameters features pages you also need to specify your system printer. If you are trying to connect to the cabinet you will be using " eia " for the system printer ext.
