How do I access the System Mailbox to see what emails are in the inbox. I have enabled the system mailbox but cant logged on to it.

You can follow the steps in this KB article (it's the same for Exchange 2003 as Exchange 2000):

But I don't recommend that you do this. As you'll note in the article it states that detrimental damage can be done if anything is altered. (even just a little).
