Hello All,

I did a system restore and rebooted my laptop. Since then, the system just keeps rebooting itself after the Windows XP logo appears. Does this in Normal and Safe Mode as well.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Regards,
David

Try running ChkDsk /r from the Recovery Console, it might get the thing fixed with a bit of luck, otherwise try the more involved options I have also mentioned.

If they don't work you could try repairing windows by running it over itself. You will lose all your windows updates but your files will be untouched.

The bit of your story that is missing, is why you had to do a System Restore in the first place?
