Hey, I hope this isnt the cause... i seriously dont think it is because it happened about a week ago and was working fine until last night, but i spilt some liquids on the inside of my pc.. really it was next to it and some of the liquids splashed onto my MB but not to much.. i quickly unplugged it and then dried what i could and let it sit over night to dry more. Its been running fine ever sense.. well until yestarday.. so i dont think that is the cause but it is the only "big" thing that has happened..

Ok so in my task mangager the "System Idle Process" keeps jumping up to 99% CPU usage.. then back down to 2%.. which is maken my PC a STOP AND GO machine.. i move my mouse it stops then jumps forward and same with typing.. HIGHLY annoying and this also stops me from really doing anhyting productive.. and suggestions? Im running WIN XP SP1.

in the begining man created code.
in the end code will create man.
clones are coming only matter of time.
examples?

It isn't a hardware problem or related to the spillage incident. Also, you're looking at the 'system idle process' from the wrong direction. When system idle process is at 99% that's the good part - essentially your system is 99% idle - not working. When system idle process is down to 2% that's bad - something else is using 98% of your system. Start with some spyware & antivirus scans which can be found in several FAQ's throughout Tek-Tips. Then if that doesn't clean it up, post in the forum that relates to your operating system (and find out what's using that 98%). Good luck.

Thanks, i closed winampa.. and some schosts in the task manager and it stopped.. but i imagine it will come back when i restart.. i just posted here mainly to see if that was possily caused from the spill.. so now ill do with the spyware and stuff thanks!
