system hibernation failed

the device driver for the 'QSI CDRW/DVD SBW-241' device is preventing the machine from entering hibernation/ Please close all applications and try again/ If the problem persists, you may need to update the driver

no update available for my cdrw - what can i do now?

thanks - it happens after i create cdr's now i think about it, but after not during - sounds like its holding on to some process....

there was a firmware update link on one of the suggestions above - ill give that a go
