Hello

I have developed a small program, and packaged it using VB6's Package & Deployment Wizard.

When the program is installed, it prompts the user to update some system files.

This process works fine on 9x, 2000 and XP machines, but fails on ME machines due to System File Protection.

My current solution is to boot the ME machine into DOS, copy over the updated system files and restart the machine, but this is messy.

Is there anyway of getting round SFP, or can anyone suggest another solution.

Cheers
