System error: Cannot get shared access to the Database

Accpac software is loaded on Win Nt server 4. Backend is Pervasive SQL 2000.

In One of the workstations having WIn 2000 Os, Accpac is not getting connected to the database.

The error that is displayed when connecting to the data is
System error - cannot get shared access to the database
