Hello troop. Happy Vets Day to all you Vets. I need your assistance. I am looking for an easy-to-use PC diagnistics software package. I have used a program called "checkit" but it is an older version and the newer ones seem too complex for what I need. I just want to do a raw test on the MB and its devices, read-write HDD, FDD, and possibly CD/DVD. Does any one have any suggestions? Thanks.

If at first you don't succeed, reboot!

do a search on google. That should be a good starting point.

I am not sure if this would suit your purposes, but try SiSoft Sandra...

If it works don't fix it! If it doesn't use a sledgehammer...

How's it going, everyone? From my experience Sis Sandra is pretty good. It has some cool benchmarking features and it creates some useful system reports.

Hope this helps.
