I have a CS1000E 5.5 customer that wants to send system specific outgoing CLID info through the PRI. Up to this point, the telco has been sending out the main billing number (555-1555) for every call. I have built several CLID entries in LD 15, none of which are 5551555. I have assigned the different entries to the DNs desiring them.

Our telco translations person says that she has modified the PRI to allow the PBX to send out it's own CLID info, but I am still sending 555-1555 from system-wide and she says that it has to be coming from me. Is there somewhere else in my switch where this could be built and which would override my CLID tables?

Can you provide your CLID entries and one of the TN's so we can see the CLID table indentifier?

It was suggested I do D-CH messaging.

When i tried it I had a couple of issues going on trying to set it up...I needed to enable my pty 15 and turn on CLID in LD 15. I was just getting crap until I realized I needed to specify the msg output settings...once that was taken care of I was able to prove I am sending the correct CLID info from my switch and that the CO is suppressing it.

Also, I had to populate the HNTN field with our local area code for the LD to work...
