system attendant is lazy

Here's the email that the system attendant sent me both times it's run:

I just set it up about 2 weeks ago to run once per week. It doesn't seem quite right that nothing was done. I have 17 mailboxes in the exchange server and some of them have quite a few deleted messages in there older than its 30 day expiration period.

What do I need to check in order to get this to work right?

Depending on how you moved the mailboxes, the modified date could have been altered. The modifed date needs to be older than 30 days as well
