I had a company ask if I could draft up a list of items for a Systems Administrator to monitor on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis on both the Definity G3SI ver9 and Intuity Audix ver 4.5.
Off of the top of my head:
PBX:
Port Network Blockage
Alarms and Error Logs
Trunk Group status (to make sure all trunks are up)
Trunk Group blockage (to make sure you have enough trunks)
Number of available digital and analog ports
Number of available DID numbers (if applicable)
Translation Backups (make sure they get done and set up a backup rotation, maybe once a week)
Announcement Backups (same as translations only maybe a monthly rotation)
Audix:
Available disk space and port usage (list measurements load daily)
Number of subscribers and max average daily usage (list measurements feature daily)
Alarms and errors
Backups (same as above with maybe a weekly rotation)
And I can't think of anything else. I am sure there is a ton more.
