I've got a problem with the system account not able to create processes any idea which setting allows it to.

Is it a group policy security prob?

!!A good cup of Tetley keeps the madness at bay!!

"local system" cannot access the current user's registry settings, nor can it access a mapped network drive or any other resource on the LAN, and a lot of other areas of the OS and its environment.

If this is a service, use Administrative Tools, Services, and change the Logon information to the local administrator.

For non-services you may need to use the "runas" feature.
