sysservers system table

I've been working with SQL Server for a couple of months now and have a general query...
Can you ever have more than one entry in the sysservers system table (by means of sp_addlinkedserver command ??). Does the local server name always tally with the entry for srvid = 0 ?

Yes, there can be more than one entry. For example, issuing the SP sp_adddistributor may create an additional entry.
